Joshua Manson has been married to Julie Manson for five years. The couple met in 2017, which Julie considers the highlight of the year. They got married less than a year after they started dating. He was committed to play at Quinnipiac University, but ultimately chose Northeastern University after being selected in the sixth round of the 2011 NHL Draft by the Anaheim Ducks. Manson signed a two-year entry-level deal with the Ducks, forfeiting his final year of NCAA eligibility. After a few great years with the Ducks, he was dealt to the Colorado Avalanche on March 14, 2022 for Drew Helleson and a 2023 second round draft pick. Manson received a scholarship to play NCAA Division I hockey at Quinnipiac University before transferring to Northeastern. The Colorado Avalanche traded him in March 2022, despite his career highlights, and won the Stanley Cup.

Julie Manson is the beautiful wife of Josh Manson, an American professional ice hockey defenseman. Julie Ann Manson (nee Consani) was born to Kimberly and David Consani on February 20, 1992 in Villa Park, California. She attended Calvary Chapel High School and won several awards playing volleyball for her high school team.
Ms. Manson attended Cal State Fullerton and played volleyball for three seasons after graduating high school. For the last season, she transferred to the University of California in Los Angeles. After graduation, she worked as a color analyst at UCLA for five months. She also started working as a social media manager and project coordinator at Skiver Advertising. Julie also has a brother, Jonathan.

Avalanche pays heartfelt tribute to Josh Manson’s mother
A beautiful and emotional memorial service was held inside the Colorado Avalanche team on November 7, 2023. Each athlete and their mother wore burgundy T-shirts that read “Mom’s Journey – For Lana.” Lana Manson, mother of Avalanche defenseman Josh Manson, died of melanoma on August 5. During the season, Josh Manson endured a terrible burden of grief, and the shirts were a way for his teammates to show their unwavering support and condolences.
Jack Johnson, Manson’s defense partner, said that when the team learned of the impending “mother’s trip,” their first concern was for Josh. Ryan Johansen developed the concept for these landmark shirts and contacted Manson for permission. Lana Manson was a key figure in her son’s journey to the NHL. As a result, Josh emphasized the great importance of this gesture and was grateful that Ryan genuinely recognized his plight.
