Several Real Housewives couples have divorced over the years, further reinforcing the “curse of reality TV.” But that doesn’t mean the cast members didn’t have their happy endings. Kathy Hilton and her husband, Richard Hilton, are one couple that has stood the test of time. Kathy was introduced to viewers of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2021 as an acquaintance of a cast member.
This was not her first appearance on RHOBH. She appeared on the program in seasons one, three, four and five, as well as seasons nine and ten. Despite the fact that her husband has never been on the show, they are one of the longest married couples on the show.

Kathy Hilton and her husband have been married for many years.
Kathy and Richard married in 1979, so they have been together for more than four decades. They met for about five years before tying the knot at a party when she was 15 and he was 18. Both were students at Montclair College Preparatory School in Los Angeles at the time they met.
In July 2021, the socialite revealed to Bustle how she and her husband met. “I thought he was really cute,” Kathy remarked of Richard when she first met him. They didn’t go out right away because they were dating other people. When Richard was in college, he and Kathy would go on dates when he was in town. Her mother initially believed the offspring to be overconfident, and Kathy agreed, declaring, “he’s arrogant and cocky, he’s a Leo!”
Over time, her mother Aries taught her to hug him. They began dating after Kathy turned 18 and moved to New York. In Tahoe, while they were in bed together watching The Flintstones, a real estate agent proposed to the reality star.
Kathy Hilton’s life after divorce
Kathy and Richard had their first child, Paris Whitney Hilton, two years after their wedding. Paris became famous after co-hosting her own reality show, The Simple Life, with Nicole Richie from 2003 to 2007. Her current boyfriend is Carter Reum.
Nicholai “Nicky” Olivia Hilton, Kathy and Richard’s second child, was born in 1983. In 2015, she married billionaire James Rothschild. They have two daughters together. Kathy gave birth to her first son, Barron Nicholas Hilton II, in 1989, after giving birth to two girls.
Milou Alizée Hilton is the daughter of Barron and his wife Tessa Hilton. In 1994, the reality star and her husband had their fourth and final child, Conrad Hughes Hilton III.
With all their children grown up and busy with their own lives, the couple travels and spends time together, documenting most of it on their own Instagram profiles.
