A woman insists on adopting a 19-year-old dog that has spent 14 years in a shelter

One of those old dogs was Stuart, who spent his first 14 years at Friends of Strays, Inc.

However, one of the employees, Emily Wozniak, decided to help adopt the dog because she found it unbearable at the moment.

It happened after she shared Staurt’s touching story on social media. Stuart, then 19, was quickly adopted by Natalie Snyder. Repo’s Rescue was founded by Natalie.

She herself decided to adopt a larger dog to give him a future and hope. However, the shelter denied their request and informed them that they had designated the shelter as his home and that leaving would be a challenge for him.

Natalie was determined to adopt, so she set out to convince shelter staff that the dog would be better off in a new, comfortable home than in the old shelter.

Stuart is now the happiest senior dog since she adopted him.
