Aaditi’s grandmother, Susheela “Tai” Pohankar, was a classical singer of Kirana Gharana. Her uncle is the famous classical singer Ajay Pohankar.

Profession
During college, she attended an acting workshop with renowned theatre director Satyadev Dubey. Later, she was mentored by Bollywood actor Makarand Deshpande. She auditioned for several Hindi films and was chosen to play a cameo in Love Sex Aur Dhokha (2010). In 2011, she starred in the Marathi film Kunasathi Kunitari alongside veteran Indian actors Ashok Saraf, Smita Jaykar and Poonam Dhillon.
