Thursday Bachelor in Paradise caught up with Eliza Isichei as Charity Lawson looks at Aaron Bryant after Kat Izzo told Eliza, 27, that Aaron had a girlfriend when he left Bachelor.
Charity said this to Eliza, who is also 27 years old, when she returned home from Bachelor“my phone is bombarded with all these messages from his ex, I guess, ex-girlfriend.”
The ex “not only texted me a million times, but she texted my family members, she texted my friends,” said Charity, 27. “So basically her text to me was that they were dating before that he went to my season, and he never really told her what it was like when he left.”
However, Charity felt like she met a different Aaron, 30, during her season.
“That’s not what I saw,” Charity told Eliza, adding, “I like to say she means well.”

Charity believed in Eliza and Aaron’s relationship.
“I think you could do it,” said the child and family therapist. “It’s just probably going to take some tough conversations.”
Eliza told Charity that she felt “so grateful” for their conversation.

The former Bachelorette then spoke to Aaron, who told her that “my ex never reached out to him.”
“We broke up last August. I haven’t spoken to her since,” Aaron claimed.
He also denied having two girlfriends at the time he left Bachelor.
“That reading didn’t fit the Aaron I knew,” Charity said.
She encouraged Aaron to commit to Eliza and “be transparent” with her. “I’m rooting for you if you make it,” Charity told Aaron.

Then Eliza and Aaron talked.
Aaron said that after Charity eliminated him after a hometown date, he returned his phone to find out that “my disgruntled ex had blurted out a bunch of untrue stuff.” To try to preempt those rumours, he flew to Fiji, where Charity was in the Fantasy Suite with her remaining suitors.
“It’s something I was trying to protect Charity from when I was in Fiji,” Aaron told Eliza.
Eliza said she wants to move forward with Aaron, but wants to “take it slow.”
“If we’re going to do this, we have to, like, communicate and talk and be on the same page,” she told Aaron. “I listened to you. I believe you.”
COCKTAIL PARTY AND ROSE CEREMONY
Entering the next rose ceremony, where the men had roses, host Jesse Palmer gave the group some important news: Sam Jeffries had finally pooped after leaving Paradise.
Aaron kept the good news by asking Eliza to be exclusive. “I’m actually falling in love with you,” Aaron told Eliza. “That’s what I’m trying to say right now.”
Eliza responded with a hug, but told the cameras: “It’s something I needed.”
Jess Girod and Blake Moynes decided to keep their relationship going after he went on a date with Genevie Mayo. “You’re the only person I want here,” Blake, 32, told Jess, 24.
That’s why Genevie, 26, was looking for a new relationship. She kissed Tanner Courtado, but Rachel Recchia went after him after Brayden Bowers went on a date with Becca Serano.
John Henry Spurlock told Olivia Lewis he wanted to “be open and meet everybody” after Kat, 27, started showing interest in him.

Bartender Wells Adams decided to read some notes from the truth box, including an invitation for John Henry, 31, to meet an interested suitor in a hot tub at midnight. When John Henry appeared, Kat was waiting for him.
“Everything was going well with Olivia, but, I don’t know, just something about you… you did this to me,” he told her.
John Henry also told Kat that he “can see you out there.”
Although John Henry told Kat that he had some “concerns,” she tried to reassure him that “I’ll always stay true to someone I’m chasing.”
They kissed and Kat called it “the first kiss I’ve been waiting for.”
When they rejoined the group, Olivia, 24, wanted to talk to Kat. Olivia told Kat that she felt “super disrespected” for going after John Henry.
“He’s a really tough guy and I can see that and I don’t want him to be taken advantage of,” Olivia continued.
Kat said she didn’t think her friendship with Olivia was worth discussing. “I just didn’t feel like we developed a friendship that I felt like I needed to come to you,” Kat said. “I’m closer with other girls.”
Olivia left the conversation telling Kat to “go with the right intention” and threw her hand in Kat’s face.
At the beginning of the rose ceremony, everyone realized that they had not seen Becca (26). When Jesse (45) found her, she expressed concern about her relationship with Brayden (24).
“There’s been a lot of doubt about my relationship with Brayden, and I’m kind of listening to that,” she told Jesse. “I wanted to see if what we had was real.”
Jesse told Becca that it was “ultimately your choice” to stay, and she chose to leave. Jesse informed the rest of the group and Brayden wondered who he would give his rose to. Aven Jones began the ceremony by giving his rose to Kylee Russell. Tyler Norris then offered his rose to Mercedes Northup, Peter Cappio gave his rose to Sam Picco, and Aaron, of course, gave his rose to Eliza.
Blake’s rose went to Jess, and Tanner (30) decided to give his rose to Rachel (27). John Henry shocked everyone – especially Olivia – by asking Kat to accept his rose. Brayden ended up offering his rose to Olivia so she could continue trying to find love.

Genevie and Davia Bunch didn’t get roses, so they had to pack their bags. The next day, John Henry apologized to Olivia.
“I felt really bad about how I handled everything yesterday,” he said.
Olivia “didn’t even know what to say” to John Henry.
“Kat and Tanner broke up and now she’s panicking,” Olivia said.
But Olivia felt a renewed sense of hope when Michael Barbour from Charity’s season showed up and asked to speak to her. We won’t know until next week if she got the date, though.
