In 2011 he released an EP titled Town Line before releasing his debut solo studio album The Road in 2012.

Aaron Lewis is the singer and founder of the rock group Staind. The band was formed in 1995. Aaron Lewis, lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Mike Mushok, bassist and backing vocalist Johnny April and drummer Jon Wysocki made up the original line-up. Tormented, the band’s debut studio album, was released in 1996. In total, the band released seven studio albums.
They are Tormented (1996), Dysfunction (1999), Break the Cycle (2001), 14 Shades of Gray (2003), Chapter V (2005), The Illusion of Progress (2008) and Staind (2009). (2011). After Wysocki’s departure and Lewis’ pursuit of a solo career, the band has been largely dormant in the music world. In 2010, Lewis began a solo career in country music. In 2011, he released his debut solo project, Town Line, EP. Singles from the EP include “Country Boy”, “Massachusetts”, “Vicious Circles” and “The Story Never Ends”.
