Aashna Chaudhary was born in August in Pilkhuwa, Hapur, Uttar Pradesh. From Class 1 to Class 8, she studied at St. Xavier’s School, Pirhuva, Uttar Pradesh. From 2012 to 2014, she attended St. Mary’s School in Udaipur, Rajasthan. From 2014 to 2016, she studied Humanities at Delhi Public School, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. She secured 96.5% in class 12th. She received her BA (Hons) in English Literature (British and Commonwealth) from Lady Shri Ram College, New Delhi. She later earned a master’s degree in international relations from South Asia University, New Delhi.

UPSC exam
After graduation, she wanted to put aside her studies temporarily and prepare for the graduation exam. During her break, her family suggested that she prepare for the civil service exam. In her first two attempts, she failed the exam. She then plugged the gaps in her preparation and cleared the UPSC 2022 exam in her third attempt with 992 points (827 points in the written test and 165 points in the personal interview). She chose anthropology as an elective subject in her exams.
Prepare strategy
Aashna dedicated herself tirelessly and studied 12 to 14 hours a day, even while pursuing her master’s degree. Initially, she joined a coaching center to prepare for the exams, but after a few months, she decided to quit coaching. Despite this, she managed to pass UPSC without any external guidance. She has used social media profiles within 2-3 months.
