- In an interview, he shared an interesting childhood story, saying,
As a kid, I loved dancing at weddings and later in 2003, there was a show called the Great Indian Laughter Challenge and after that show, stand-up comedy entered my life as an art form. I was impressed by this art form because one person could play different roles and after that, I started performing stand-up comedy in my city and I learnt a lot from it and won many competitions as well.”
- In 2010, he moved to Mumbai to pursue his acting career but could not find a job. To survive, he worked as a waiter in various hotels before finally deciding to return to his hometown. In an interview, he talked about his difficult days and said:
My friends started encouraging me to pursue acting and then in 2010, I decided to go to Mumbai, to be honest, I made a mistake, I went to Mumbai without any preparation, my family was against me pursuing acting so I had no financial support. Let me tell you an interesting thing about Mumbai, your dream Mumbai and the real Mumbai are very different. Then in 2011, I came back to Nimbahera and worked in theatre for 6 years, and from that day on, my passion for acting started.”
- After working in theatre for more than five years, he decided to move to Mumbai again to pursue his acting career. He started going for auditions and joined ‘Casting Bay’ as a casting director. In an interview, he said,
I cannot express how grateful I am to Abhishek Banerjee and Anmol Ahuja who were my mentors from the beginning of my career. I would not have been able to do anything without their support and I am also very grateful to Vibhu Gupta and Vikas Pal, the casting directors of Jamtara – Sabka Number Aayega.”
