Abhijeet Khandkekar is an Indian television and film actor. He is known for his roles in the Marathi television shows Maziya Priyala Preet Kalena (2010) and Mazhya Navryachi Bayko (2016).

Abhijeet Khandkekar was born on Monday, July 7, 1986, in Pune, Maharashtra (36 years; as of 2023). His keen interest in hosting led him to find work as a radio jockey at Radio Milch in 2006. He worked as an RJ for a year and later, he started acting in Marathi films and TV series.

In 2009, Abhijeet participated in Zee Marathi’s reality show Maharashtracha Superstar. He hosted the same show in 2020. He played the role of Abhijeet Pendse in the famous show Maziya Priyala Preet Kalena created by Ekta Kapoor which aired on Zee Marathi from 2010 to 2011. He played the lead role of Gurunath Vasant Subhedar in Majhya Navaryachi Bayko, one of the top five Marathi shows of 2016, which ran for almost four years. He hosted the Zee Marathi Utsav Natyancha Awards in 2018 and 2019. In May 2022, he played the main lead role of Lavdya Malhar Kamat in the Star Pravah show Tuzech Mi Geet Gaat Aahe.

Abhijeet made his debut in the film industry in 2013 with the role of Sayaji Nimbalkar in the Marathi film Jai Maharashtra Dhaba Bhatinda. He is the protagonist of the 2014 film Mamachya Gavala Jaaoo Yaa. He also starred in the Marathi political drama Dhol 2015’s Tash. In 2017, he played the role of Sameer Karandikar in the film Dhyanimani. He acted in the film Baba (2019), the first Marathi film produced by Indian actor Sanjay Dutt’s production company. He has acted in several Marathi films such as Bhay (2018), Me Pan Sachin (2019) and Dharmaveer (2022). He is also known for his performance in the Marathi film Baal Bhaarti (2022).
