Profession
He started his career as a theatre artist in Makarand Deshpande’s theatre troupe ‘Ansh’ and also worked as a model. Later, he left Delhi and moved to Mumbai. Bollywood’s famous actor Manoj Bajpayee saw him in a play and liked his performance. Later, Manoj spoke to Indian film producer Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra to cast him in his next film. Rakeysh auditioned him and cast him in the Bollywood film Aks (2001).

He made his Hindi television debut in the 1997 Hindi TV series Saturday Mystery-Junoon, which aired on Zee TV. Some of his popular television series include Kumkum- Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan (2002), Kkusum (2003), Saara Akaash (2003) and Upanishad Ganga (2012).
