Abhirami Suresh is an Indian actress, model, singer, musician, video host and entrepreneur, primarily working in the Malayalam film industry. She is known for her role as “Meera” in the 2014 Malayalam film Beware of the Dog.

Abhirami Suresh was born on Monday, October 9, 1995 (age 24; 2019) in Perumbavoor, Ernakulam, Kerala. Her zodiac sign is Libra.
During her childhood, she was active in extracurricular activities and often performed impersonations and one-man shows during school. Although she was born into a musical family, Abirami always wanted to be an actress. During her school days, she never missed any opportunity to be on stage. Abirami completed grade 11 and then enrolled in a diploma in acting. During her diploma studies, Abirami directed a short film as part of her coursework. At the age of 12, Abirami received her first acting offer after imitating host Ranjini Haridas and judge Sharreth on the music reality show “Idea Star Singer”, where her elder sister Amrutha Suresh was a contestant.

Abhirami started her acting career as a child actor in the television serial Hello Kuttichathan in 2008, playing the role of ‘Nimmy’. The show was well received by the audience.
In 2009, she made her Malayalam debut with the film Keralotsavam. She then acted in the Malayalam films Venalmaram and Gulumaal: The Escape. In 2014, Abhirami played the role of “Meera” in the Malayalam comedy Beware of Dogs. This was her first film as a female lead. In the same year, she made her Tamil debut with the film Kerala Nattilam Pengaludane, a Malayalam-Tamil bilingual comedy, in which she played the role of Nisha, a Malayali Muslim girl.
She subsequently acted in films such as 100 Days of Love, Kubera Rasi and Crossroad. She also appeared as a guest on many television shows including Star Jam, Vartha Prabhatham, JB Junction and Varthakkappuram.
In December 2018, Abirami and his sister Amruta launched the YouTube channel Amrutam Gamay – AG and launched the AG Vlog series, posting creative content based on personal life, travel, food, music and shopping. In 2020, Abirami and his sister Amruta were invited to participate in the Malayalam game reality show Bigg Boss Season 2, but they declined the invitation due to other commitments. Later, they entered Bigg Boss Malayalam 2 as wild card contestants.

Abirami has been composing music since she was a very young girl. She made her debut as a music composer in 2009. Abirami has composed several bhajans and devotional songs. In 2014, Amruta formed a 10-member band, Amrutam Gamay, with Amruta and Abirami as lead singers. Initially, Abirami was not a member of the band, but Amruta invited her to join the band after hearing the song she was preparing to sing for her debut show on Kappa TV. Six months after the band was formed, it began performing internationally. Abirami and her sister Amruta have composed many songs for the band, including “Katturumbu,” “Ayyayo,” and “Harps of Peace.”
In 2015, she hosted Kappa TV’s music show Dear Kappa. She also lent her voice to the title song of the film Crossroad (2017) and a single from the film Aadu 2.
