Abhishek started his acting career in 1986 with the Bengali film “Pathbhola”. The film is directed by Tarun Majumder and stars Prosenjit Chatterjee, Tapas Paul, Utpal Dutta, Sandy Starring Sandhya Roy and Shakti Thakur. He received critical acclaim for his performance in his debut film, in which he played the role of Sundar in the film “Ora Charjon” in 1988. Abhishek Chatterjee passed away due to severe cardiac arrest on March 24, 2022, in Kolkata, West Bengal. It is understood that he was filming a TV series at the time.
