Ravindra Kaushik is an Indian intelligence agent working for the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). He is considered one of the most popular Indian spies.

Ravindra Kaushik was born on April 11, 1952, in an ordinary family in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan (aged 49; died in 2001). He spent most of his childhood in Sri Ganga Nagar. Growing up, he witnessed the India-Pakistan war from 1965 to 1971.

After graduating from a government school in Sri Ganga Nagar, he attended SD Bihani College, a private college in Sri Ganga Nagar, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in commerce. While in college, Ravindra developed acting skills and began participating in various plays and plays. He was very famous in college for his acting skills.

After college, he joined RAW and began working as an undercover agent in Pakistan. After providing some valuable information to India, he was eventually captured by the Pakistani army and imprisoned. Ravindra Kaushik was born into a Brahmin family. His father JM Kaushik served in the Indian Air Force and after retirement, he started working in a factory in Sri Ganganagar. After learning about Ravindra’s death, he succumbed to shock and heart attack. His mother Amladevi died in 2006. His brother Rajeshwarnath Kaushik is two years younger than Ravindra and lives in Jaipur. Ravindra Kaushik’s nephew Vikram Vashisth also lives in Jaipur. While serving in the Pakistan Army, Ravindra met his future wife Amanat. Amanat is a Muslim girl and the daughter of a Pakistan Army personnel. Ravindra Kaushik is married to Amanat and has a daughter.

Profession

Once, he was attending a show in Lucknow where he was approached by a RAW official to join RAW. Ravindra accepted the offer and after graduating in commerce, he went to Delhi to join RAW in 1973. He joined RAW at the age of 23 as an intelligence agent. RAW officials told Ravindra that he would be sent to Pakistan on a special mission. mission; where he will serve as an undercover agent. After two years of gruesome training, Ravindra was sent to Pakistan in 1975. During his training, he had to learn Urdu and Pakistani customs. He also learned about the topography of Pakistan. To mold him into a staunch Muslim, Ravindra converted to Islam and had him Sunnah (circumcised). He arrived in Pakistan as a resident of Islamabad and was given the alias Nabi Ahmed Shakir. Soon after arriving in Pakistan, Ravindra was admitted to the University of Karachi and began studying law. After completing his LLB degree from the University of Karachi, Ravindra Kaushik joined the Pakistan Army. After serving as an officer in the Military Accounts Department of the Pakistan Army, he was soon promoted to the rank of Major in the Pakistan Army. While serving in the Pakistan Army, Ravindra provided some valuable information to India. In 1979, he underwent major surgery that earned him praise from his bosses. For his courage, the then Home Minister of India, SB Chavan, awarded him the title of “Black Tiger”.

Sentence and death

Ravindra Kaushik continued to be active from 1979 to 1983, before being captured by the Pakistan Army; his identity was identified by another man named E.I. sent by the Indian Intelligence Service to arrange a meeting with Ravindra. Indian intelligence operative Inayat Masiha was inadvertently exposed. In 1985, Ravindra Kaushik was sentenced to death; however, in 1990, the Supreme Court of Pakistan commuted his death sentence to life imprisonment. Ravindra Kaushik, who spent the last 18 years of his life in prisons including Sialkot Jail and Kot Lakhpat in Pakistan, died in November 2001 Died of tuberculosis and heart disease on the 21st.
