Abrar Qazi is an Indian actor. He rose to fame with the film Laila Majnu.

Abrar Qazi was born into a Muslim family in Srinagar. He was educated at Tyndale Biscoe School, Srinagar and went to Islamic College of Science and Commerce, Srinagar for his Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.). Thereafter, he studied at the Islamic University of Science and Technology, Awantipora, Jammu and Kashmir, to complete his Master’s Degree (MA) in Journalism.
Abrar has been good at performing since he was a child, and he often participated in stage competitions and activities as a student. After completing his studies, he would like to pursue a career in film production and acting. However, he could not leave Kashmir due to family restrictions. He then started making films on social issues and moved to Delhi after completing his studies.

Abrar began his career as a theatrical backstage manager. While in Delhi, he also attended some acting workshops. He then moved to Kashmir to complete his post graduation studies. Later, he started working as a graphic designer in a private company in Srinagar. Thereafter, he joined kJ Productions in Srinagar as an editor. After years of struggle, he played the role of Zaid in the film Laila Majnu.
In 2019, he made his debut in the TV series “Gathbandhan”, in which he played the role of Ghaghu, a Dombivli gangster.
