Adam Carolla on Calling DWTS Judge Carrie Ann Inaba a ‘B—-‘ and His Biggest Gaffe with Another Season 6 Star

Adam Carolla reflects on a few of his missteps Dancing with the stars.

In the latest episode Sex, lies and spray tanning podcast, the radio personality, who competed on season six of the ABC dance competition, recalled accidentally calling judge Carrie Ann Inaba a “bitch” during one of the live shows.

The moment was reportedly heard by fans after the judges awarded their scores, and Carolla could be heard muttering, “Oh, bitch,” after receiving a 5 from Inaba.

“Okay, did you call Carrie Ann a bitch?” podcast host and ex DWTS asked pro Cheryl Burke, while Carolla, 59, replied: “I did and I forgot I did it.”

Previous DWTS Host Samantha Harris claims producers wanted her to look less like a professional dancer and more “pasty and fat”.

“[The producers] they told me I did and I said ‘I didn’t say that’ and they said ‘Yeah you did,’” he shared. “And I said, ‘I did?'”

When Burke asked if it was simply a “like reaction [scoring] high five,” he clarified, “No, I called her a bitch and I didn’t remember that, which is weird.”

The radio personality later shared on the podcast that he “had no conflict” with anyone, including Inaba, adding, “I knew what work was. They knew what work was. I understand.”

Carolla, who was eliminated in week four of the 2008 competition, also admitted to sharing an awkward moment with fellow contestant Marissa Jaret Winokur while trying to calm her nerves.

The comedian recalled that the 50-year-old actress was “a bundle of nerves” before the show started and tried to help her with some of his “wisdom”.

“So I approached her and [contestant] Penn Jillette was standing there. And he was trying to help,” he said. “I say, ‘Look, you’re not going to have fun out there. But you know what you will have, you will have experience. You will have an experience that you cannot exchange for anything. It’s such a crazy experience.”

He remembered telling her that Dancing with the stars is “an experience you can’t buy” and then comparing it to childbirth.

“I said, ‘You know, giving birth, having a baby, is it fun? No. Would you miss it for anything in the world? It’s [an] experience and that’s it. This is birth [it’s] the most important experience you’ll ever have,’” he recalled. “And she says, ‘I just had ovarian cancer and I can’t have children.'”

He added, “And Penn Jillette started laughing like crazy atheists. Penn Jillette is like, ‘Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God.'”

He revealed that he simply blurted out, ‘Ah, what?’ after Hair spraypersonal discovery of a star.

Elsewhere in the episode, Carolla joked that he was upset that no one complimented him on riding a unicycle during one of his dances. “The judges didn’t say anything,” he laughed. “I remember at the time, yeah, no one said, ‘Hey, good job on the unicycle’ or anything.”
