Adele reveals she’s a multi-talented mom — not only is she a world-class singer, but she’s also a prolific cook.
While talking to The Hollywood Reporter on receiving the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award, the singer (35) opened up about being a mom to her son Angel (11) and how she recently had a kitchen fiasco while cooking for his school.
When asked about a story she told at a recent concert about making chicken kabobs for her son’s class, the musician said, “I made it the next day. It went great.”
“I spilled turmeric everywhere, and it stained my whole kitchen,” she added. “I made 60 of them.”

Adele shares a son with ex-husband Simon Konecki.
Although the singer is mostly secretive about her son and doesn’t post his photos online, she has shared some cute moments with him over the years.
Adele told Vanity Fair in December 2016 that he would give up every aspect of his music career if it ever began to negatively affect Angelo.
“All my relationships are more important to me than any tour I’m going to go on,” she said at the time. “If my relationship…with Angela started to falter a bit now, I’d pull out of my tour.”
She added: “My life is more important than anything I do because how the hell am I supposed to write a record if I don’t have a life? If I don’t have a real life, then it’s game over anyway.”

When Adele took home the 2022 BRIT Award for Album of the Year, she dedicated the coveted win to her ex-husband and her then 9-year-old son, Angelo. During her acceptance speech, Adele became emotional when she talked about how “kind” Angelo was while working on 30.
“I would like to dedicate this award to my son. And to Simon, his dad. This album was our whole journey, not just mine, and I’m very proud of myself for standing my ground and releasing an album, it was something so personal for me, ” she said as she started to cry.
“Because not many people do that kind of thing anymore. And my son has been so kind, so kind, kind and patient with me the last few years and that’s for him.”
