Adele later explained in a post on X why the moment was so special to her, writing in part, “I’ve been performing in the Celine Dion room at the Colosseum for almost 2 years now. It was the only place I wanted to play in Vegas because it was made for her. I have a picture of her right next to the stage that I touch every night before I walk by and she came to the show this weekend and it was a surprise and it was a MOMENT!!”

Not long after, Dion herself paid tribute to the special moment the singers shared, writing to Adele in an Instagram post on Friday, Nov. 1, “Your performance was spectacular, your production was so beautiful. We loved seeing you and hearing you sing … it was such an emotional night for all of us.”
