Blue penguins are considered rich toys, but their entire life is almost an unimaginable achievement.
The blue seabird is about the size of a chicken: 1.5 kg and 40 cm tall.
It’s even surprising because blue penguins balance the coasts of Australia, New Zealand and many smaller islands, and their total population amounts to 2.5 million people.
The mystery of the progress of the little birds is extremely difficult work. During the main rays of the sun, all the adult representatives of the species go fishing and do not return until evening.
No weekend, no chance. Consistently, micro penguins head out to sea and swim 20 to 50 kilometers in search of food.
They are far from being the best swimmers: our legendary swimming speed is 5 to 6 kilometers per hour, and their diving ability is severely limited by their small body size. Their limit value is a moment of arnea and from 10 to 20 meters.
