Adrienne Bailon Celebrates ‘Perfect’ Thanksgiving with Her Son Ever James

Adrienne Bailon’s Thanksgiving was perfect!

On Thursday, the 40-year-old actress and her husband, singer-songwriter Israel Houghton, shared a glimpse of their elaborate Turkey Day feast with 15-month-old son Ever James — starting with meal prep.

According to Houghton, 52, little Ever lent a helping hand in the kitchen.

“Mashed potato duty covered 🥔🫡,” Houghton captioned a snap of the 15-month-old smiling on the kitchen counter as someone stirred mashed potatoes.

On Friday, both Bailon and Houghton gave a glimpse of their holiday gathering with videos of the special occasion.

“I’m thankful for this home, this table, but more importantly for everything around it,” Houghton wrote alongside a compilation of clips before, during and after the holiday meal.

“More to share from Thanksgiving soon!” he continued. “But I just want to thank my wife @adriennebailon for always making everything so beautiful and creating the atmosphere for the best memories. God is so good. NY we’re home!”

“Uh… it was perfect 🫶🏽🥀,” Bailon commented.

The Cheetah Girls star also documented the family’s elaborate “royal feast” themed Thanksgiving meal with her own “recap” video.

“I have so much to be thankful for,” Bailon wrote in the caption, “lil Thanksgiving 2023 recap,” adding, “Besos Xx.”

In the compilation set to instrumental Bridgerton version of Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams,” Bailon included highlights from her vacation—from Ever waddled around in the morning to her last bite of food.

“What’s on the menu for me today is to make mac and cheese,” the actress, wearing a gingham apron, told the camera after putting her son to sleep.

Later in the video, Bailon included videos of herself, Houghton and Ever enjoying some food together and showed off the dinner’s black and gold decorations, which included a “royal portrait” wall and lots of candles.

The family of three also snapped a few photos together at the event, which Houghton then shared on Instagram.

“Houghton Family Thanksgiving 2023 🤎,” he captioned the photos.

Last August, Bailon announced in an Instagram post that she had given birth to her first son via surrogate. “Always James ♾ / We prayed for this child / Just to hear our baby’s cry / Skin to skin and face to face / Heart to heart and eye to eye…” Bailon began her emotional post.

“Our baby boy is here and we are very much in love! If you have been following our love story… you know that our journey to the baby was very challenging – But God is true to His word and His promises. We have been praying silently as we sat about this most glorious secret in the last 9 months,” she shared.

“He is worth every tear, every disappointment, every delayed prayer, every IVF cycle, every miscarriage. Everything. All we feel is joy and overwhelming love and gratitude,” the new mom continued.

While Ever Cheetah Girls the star’s first child, her husband, whom she married in Paris in December 2019, has four children from a previous relationship: daughters Mariah and Milan and sons Jordan and Israel.

“I think I looked at myself and in my mind I was like, ‘I’m Cheetah Girl, I’m 19 years old,’ and then I woke up and thought that in a few years I’ll be 35 years old. weeks and it makes a big difference. I can feel as young as I want inside and in my heart, but my ovaries are what they are and that’s bullshit to hear,” Bailon explained at the time.
