George has been suffering from depression for the past two years since losing his best friend of 12 years, Labrador Blackie. Last Thursday, however, a friendly duck suddenly entered his life and snuggled up next to the sad dog as he lay on the porch of this Tennessee home.
Jac.quie Litton, George’s owner, wrote on Facebook: “We don’t know where this duck came from, but he sure loves George and since the duck arrived, George hasn’t cried once.”
“It’s a shame that a duck showed up at our house and latched onto your dog, and even more bizarrely, the week of Blackie’s death anniversary.” From that day on, the two were inseparable. The duck follows George everywhere and the little dog is no longer so lonely. Finally he smiled again.
