Ahsanuddin Amanullah passed the Bihar Bar Council examination on September 27, 1991 and started practicing in the Patna High Court. He represents clients not only before the Patna High Court but also in the Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, Jharkhand High Court and Calcutta High Court in matters relating to constitutional, civil, criminal, services, cooperative societies, tax, labour, companies. and forest. Ahsanuddin Amanullah specializes in constitutional law and service law. The Bihar government appointed him as Government Advocate, a post he held from August 2010 until June 20, 2011, when he became a judge of the Patna High Court. From 2006 to 2011, he played an important role in drafting and reviewing several bills entrusted to him by the Bihar Legislative Assembly. He has represented many cases related to social issues in court pro bono, meaning free or for a low fee. At the special request of the Advocate General of Maharashtra, Asanuddin Amanullah has been appointed by the Advocate General of Bihar as the Commissioner of Police, Maharashtra, Maharashtra Police and Mumbai Police representative. Later, he served the Patna High Court as amicus curiae. Later, he was appointed as Special Adviser to the Government of India in the Income Tax Division of the Jharkhand High Court, Ranchi. He served as the judge of the Andhra Pradesh High Court till June 20, 2022, after which he was transferred back to the Bench of the Patna High Court.
