Peridian, home to the ancestors of Dathomir’s Night Sisters, appears to be a planet steeped in the dark side of the Force. Grand Admiral Thrawn’s allies were able to interfere long enough for the Chimera to dock with the Eye of Sion and the ship jump into hyperspace – hyperspace fluctuations once again rocking Ahsoka’s Jedi T-6 starfighter.The heroes’ mission failed, and now Star Wars The galaxy is in greater danger than ever – because Grand Admiral Thrawn can take charge of what’s left of the Empire, and he won’t be distracted by the ways of the Sith. Thrawn is ruthless and efficient, and will undoubtedly quickly suppress any potential rivals within the Empire. He will also work closely with the Imperial Shadow Council to undermine the New Republic.
Fortunately, Star Wars Galaxy does come with some caveats. Sabine successfully unlocked her Force potential and ascended Ezra Bridger aboard the Chimera. Beran stood near the statues of the gods Mortis: father, son and daughter. The three entities represent different aspects of the Force; the daughter represents the light side, the son represents the dark side, and the father maintains the balance of the Force. Their deaths during the Clone Wars symbolized the Force being out of balance, and it was strongly suggested that Anakin Skywalker’s fate was somehow tied to Mortis.
The connection with the Mortis gods helps to understand the nature of the Nightsisters, especially the Great Mother, whose skin color is always similar to that of the Son. This was previously overlooked, but now it’s important because the Nightsisters originate from a world close to the gods Mortis; they are presumably directly connected to the Son, using their magic to harness his power. It’s a subtle detail, but it ties everything together nicely.
Anakin Skywalker’s Force Ghost watches events unfold on Peridea
