AI for India 2.0 Course
In the latest report it was announced that Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Education and Skills Development, took the initiative to launch AI FOR INDIA 2.0, a free course on Artificial Intelligence on World Youth Skills Day. The program is a joint partnership between GUVI (Grab Ur Vernacular Imprint), an educational technology company incubated by IIT Madras and IIM Ahmedabad, and Skill India, which motivates to educate students in nine languages. At the launch, Pradhan said that an emergency like artificial intelligence should not be allowed to become a prisoner of language. He requested technology courses in Indian languages. He added to the statement and said it is a good start towards unbalancing language barriers in technology and training for the future of our Shakti Youth, especially in rural areas.
He further added that India is a tech-savvy country and the success story of digital payment adoption in India is a noteworthy case. He also expressed his satisfaction that GUVI has taken this initiative to educate the grassroots on abatement technology. The Minister also warmly congratulated the new initiative, for the easy availability of AI learning in all parts of the nation. How to apply for Ai for India 2.0 course?
- Step 1 – Open the link in a new browser tab and fill in the details.
- Step 2 – Complete the Python course fee and registration processes.
- Step 3 – Attend the virtual event on August 15 and submit your projects.
Look, it’s that simple! However, applications are open until August 14, 2023 and will feature hands-on learning through a virtual event. The GUVI website also states that internship opportunities will be provided for the best at the AI for India 2.0 massive virtual event as a bonus.
