contempt of court case

Bhatti was accused of making disrespectful and derogatory comments about the Supreme Court and its judges in a video posted on YouTube. The former attorney general issued a statement saying that Bhatti’s video, viewed by approximately 170,000 people, contained offensive language aimed at disparaging the Supreme Court and the entire judiciary. Bhatti’s allegations against the Supreme Court in the video include bribery, favoritism and abuse of power. A lawyer named Kritika Singh initially tried to file a contempt of court case against Bharti due to the derogatory remarks and accusations he made in the video.
