So, during college, I did some radio commercials, which also helped me train to be a voice actor – imitating the voices of the children in the Horlicks commercials, and other different voices in various other shows on the radio. From that point on, I had the idea of ​​becoming a voice actor in mind.”

After graduation, Akanksha started working as a freelance voiceover artist. In 2015, she was invited to voice the fictional character Nohara Shin-chan from the super hit Japanese anime series Crayon Shin-chan. According to her, she had no idea about the anime until she started dubbing for it. Akanksha is the fourth artist to voice Crayon Shin-chan since the show first aired in India in 2006.
