Akash Madhwal was born on Thursday, November 25, 1993, in Dungla village, Almora district, Uttarakhand (age 29; as of 2022). His zodiac sign is Sagittarius. In 2022, Akash was bought by Mumbai Indians as a replacement for Suryakumar Yadav who suffered a forearm injury. He was acquired for Rs. 2 million, but was not included in the game lineup that season. In 2023, he made his IPL debut, replacing Riley Meredith who was unable to participate in the game due to injury. On May 4, 2023, in the IPL match between Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab, he scored 12 runs in the 18th over and 9 runs in the 20th over.
