Alessandra Ambrosio and Lookalike Daughter Anja, 15, Celebrate NYE in Twinning Sparkly Minidresses

Like a mother like a daughter.

Alessandra Ambrosio and her daughter Anja, 15, look more and more like twins every day – including the new year.

The mom and daughter shared a joint Instagram carousel on Jan. 1 that showcased their New Year’s Eve celebration, and not only did it feature a nightly fireworks display, but it also showed off their twin style.

In the photos, the former Victoria’s Secret model, 42, wore a long-sleeve beaded sheer mini dress with a plunging neckline to show off her abs perfectly. It matched her daughter’s champagne strapless mini dress that had just a hint of sparkle.

They posed together for two sweet photos, and in the third frame of the carousel they shared hugs under fireworks. Alessandra also shared another series of photos with more family, including her son Noah, 11.

Anja turned 15 in August. The proud mum then shared the snap on her Instagram Story to celebrate. In the photo, baby Anja was rocking a white clip and looking at the camera.

“Anja…since you were born you have been…sweet, curious, witty, smart and full of personality!!!” Alessandra wrote over the picture. “Happy 15th my sunshine.”

Alessandra shares both Anja and Noah with her ex, Jamie Mazur.

Alessandra achieved iconic status as a Victoria’s Secret Angel and was featured as an icon in the SKIMS 2022 campaign alongside fellow former Angels, including Heidi Klum, Tyra Banks and Candice Swanepoel.

At the time, she told PEOPLE that she was “honored” to be seen as an icon by brand founder Kim Kardashian.

“Honestly speaking, I believe that only others can call someone an icon, so I never thought of myself that way,” she said. “To me, an icon is about staying true to yourself and making sure you treat others the way you would like to be treated.”

The Brazilian supermodel added that the four models had “the best time” on set.

“We were all doing our own things so it was great to be together and catch up on everything that was going on in our lives,” she told PEOPLE. “We chatted, laughed a lot, but as we all have children we all had to run home afterwards, so unfortunately there was no time to hang out.”
