Viewers can attest to the fact that a lot has changed for the cast of The Real Housewives of Miami over the past eight years. On December 16 last year, the rebooted reality series premiered on the Peacock, and fans got to see their favorite actors again. Alexia Echevarria was one of the stars reintroduced to the audience, as was Echevarria’s new husband, Todd Nepola. After two years of dating, Echevarria and her new husband got engaged in December 2019. However, due to the epidemic, they had to postpone the wedding.
When the world began to open up around them, the couple scheduled a new date, but another tragedy befell them. On her wedding day, Echevarria’s mother died of COVID. Everything stopped for the reality star and her new husband, and they got married on December 16 last year. The party was held at the Eden Rock Hotel in St. Barths.

After the wedding, The Real Housewives of Miami star told Us Weekly that everything still felt like a dream. The founder of Alexie and Frankie’s Beauty Bar also spoke with Entertainment Tonight Canada about her wedding day. Echevarria told Morgan Hoffman, the host of the show, that her wedding day was perfect and exactly what she and Nepola had envisioned.
Echevarria said:
“It was just Todd and I, so it was all about us, which was much needed time.” So we are overjoyed to be able to get married exactly the way we wanted. “It’s just him and me,”
She further said that they are excited to celebrate with their friends and family in 2022. When asked how her mother feels about her marrying Nepol, the RHOM actress said that her mother admires her husband and is thrilled for her. Her mother and Nepola agreed from the beginning. She remembered them talking and drinking champagne until three in the morning, when she fell asleep on the couch. Echevarria went on to say that although her mother was not there, she was sure that her mother was spiritually present with her and Nepola.

Echevarria was previously married to businessman and former Venue Magazine owner Herman Echevarria for almost 10 years before marrying her current husband. Echevarria was married to her first husband during the reality show’s initial run, but they divorced in 2015. According to a source close to the situation, the two have little chance of reconciling. A year later, the owner of the magazine died of natural causes.
But before she married the late billionaire, Echevarria was with Pedro “Pegy” Rosella. In 1987, Echevarria and Rosello met at a restaurant in Miami and were about to marry when the latter was arrested on drug-trafficking charges. When Rosello was released on bail for a year, the couple got married. They had their first son, Peter, in 1992, and their second son, Frankie, a few years later. They were not meant to be and they broke up in 1996.
