Alexis Bellino Takes Aim at Vicki Gunvalson as RHOC OG Criticizes Former Costar for John Janssen Romance

Alexis Bellino has no intention of silently suffering Vicki Gunvalson’s criticism.

After seeing Gunvalson promise not to “keep his mouth shut” about Bellino’s newfound relationship with John Janssen — ex The Real Housewives of Orange CountyShannon Storms Beador — Bellino, 46, wrote on Instagram: “I’m so disappointed to see this from someone I considered a friend.”

She continued: “I know things at Coto Insurance can’t be that bad that you resort to grabbing a quick buck from a clickbait article that is destroying me. It’s sad that you seem to forget that there are two sides to every story, and unfortunately 100% of your assumptions are completely incorrect [Vicki]. Happy Holidays!”

Some of the “false” accusations may include Gunvalson’s Instagram comment saying the new relationship is “funny and thirsty for both of us.”

It didn’t take long for Gunvalson (61) to throw shade at Bellin. “Coto Insurance – in business for 34 years – is thriving,” she shared on X (formerly known as Twitter). “My feelings about a particular situation involving someone I think is suspicious have NOTHING to do with it – oh, and at least I HAVE a job and don’t have to depend on a man. #HappyHolidays #ImAGoodFriend XO”

PEOPLE exclusively confirmed the relationship between Bellino and Janssen, 61, on Monday. “They don’t use boyfriend or girlfriend labels right now, but they spend a lot of time together and enjoy learning about each other,” a source told PEOPLE, noting that the couple met last month.

Both have become single in the past year – Janssen ended his relationship with Storms Beador, 59, last November and Bellino called off their engagement this September.

“The two were supportive friends as they navigated their new single lives,” the source added. “This shared background paired with mutual attraction made it easy for Alexis and John to form a natural connection.”

For her part, Storms Beador said she was “confused” why Janssen would want to date another Real Housewife after being camera-shy during their relationship.

“I’ve been really hurt the last couple of weeks because, No. 1, John said he doesn’t want to be in the public eye, and at this point he’s gotten more out of the public eye,” she explained.

She also noted that Bellin’s connection to a previous legal dispute was another reason her ex’s new relationship cut deep.

“John is very familiar with the litigation that I was involved in with Jim Bellino, and Alexis was involved in that litigation,” the reality star said. Hey! News. “For years I was financially and emotionally destroyed. And I won. But it destroyed me financially. And I’m a single mother. John is aware of that.”
