Ali Safina is a Pakistani television and film actor. Apart from being an actor, Ali is also a disc jockey, video jockey and television host. Ali is known for his versatility in acting, including comedy, seriousness, negative and positive performances.

Ali Safina was born on Sunday, December 18, 1983 (37 years old in 2020) in Multan, Pakistan. His star sign is Sagittarius. He went to school at the Pakistan School in Muscat, Oman. After completing his primary and secondary education, he enrolled at the Caledonian College of Engineering. Later, he moved to Scotland to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering. In order to pursue a master’s degree, Ali Safina returned to his hometown of Karachi, Pakistan, but was unable to concentrate on his studies and abandoned the plan. At that time, Ali Safina developed an interest in acting and enrolled at the Pakistan National Academy of Performing Arts.

Ali Safina started his DJ career while in college. He worked as a DJ in Scotland for over 12 years before moving to Pakistan. There, he started working as a VJ and rose to fame. Ali has worked as a VJ for several projects for AAG TV and earned the title of the most popular VJ in the industry. He has also been a host on many reality shows like Milk Sheikh, Funny Talk Show, Hun Dass and Pepsi Battle of The Bands (Season 4).
Ali started his acting career in 2011 when he played the role of Taka in Geo TV’s comedy series Takkay Ki Ayegi Barrat. His performance in the show was greatly appreciated by the audience and he soon became a household name. Next, Ali played the role of Zubair in PTV’s drama Daag e Nadamat. Ali Safina honed his acting skills with every role he played and took the opportunity to be part of many big projects.
Later, Ali acted in many popular shows like Aadat, Aik Pal, Ab Kar Meri Rafugari, Suno Chanda, etc. His roles in shows like Takkay Ki Ayegi Baraat, Tabeer, Khafa Khafa Zindagi, and Barfi Laddu were some of his most popular performances. In 2021, Ali Safina played the role of Miskeen in Hum TV’s romantic comedy series Chupke Chupke, which became a turning point in his career and developed his identity as a comedian.

Ali Safina has acted in many television movies such as Achi Phuppo and Salma Ka Balma, with Second Love Marriage being his first. The television movie was released in 2016 and was a huge success. Ali Safina made his film debut in the Pakistani action thriller Jalaibee directed by Yasir Jaiswal, in which he played Bugga, a boy who gets entangled with the local mafia due to corruption, co-starring Danish Taimoor and Wiqar Ali Khan. Ali Safina acted in Pakistan’s first web movie Oye Kuch Kar Guzar, which was released on YouTube on December 3, 2016.
