Alicia Silverstone Lights the Menorah with 12-Year-Old Son Bear: ‘Hanukkah Rager’

Alicia Silverstone celebrates the Festival of Lights with her son!

On Thursday, Clless The 47-year-old actress shared several posts on her Instagram about her Hanukkah party on the last night of the holiday, which included her 12-year-old son Bear. In the first post, Alicia lights a menorah while her son and some friends look on, preparing to add the last candle to the menorah.

She also included a video of her parties, which featured milkshakes, soup, donuts, candle lighting and more holiday fun.

“Hanukkah rager 2023 ☺️ Such a sweet night,” she wrote in the caption.

The star shares a son with her ex-husband Christopher Jarecki.

Last spring, Alicia celebrated her son Bear turning 12 by posting several photos of the mother-son duo over the past few years.

“Happy birthday to my Bear Blu 💙 I know he won’t see this because he doesn’t have social media, but I wanted to celebrate him in honor of his birthday 🥰 🥳,” wrote the proud mom.

“I can’t believe she’s 12 years old 😭🥹.”

Last year, Silverstone appeared on The Ellen Fisher Podcast to talk about her life as a vegan and what goes into raising healthy children. When the topic of co-sleeping came up, Silverstone revealed that she always slept with her pre-teen self.

“Bear and I still sleep together,” she said at the time, noting that she just “follows nature” with her parenting style.

“If you’ve been in any wild environment where there are animals…if you put your baby in there,” she said, gesturing to herself, “your baby will be eaten. It’s not ideal for the baby to be there.”

Later in the discussion, Silverstone praised motherhood as “the most precious, most amazing experience in this world,” adding, “To me, it’s so divine.”
