Wednesday was night out for Dave Franco and Alison Brie!

The married actors were photographed in Burbank, California, after their movie date, dressed casually as they cuddled up while out and about.

Brie, 40, had her arms around the arm of her husband of six years as she leaned in closer in one shot, wearing dark jeans, yellow boots and a blue blazer-style jacket over a white shirt.

Franco, 38, wore light jeans, white sneakers and a baseball cap. But his standout wardrobe item was a shirt with two throwback photos of Leonardo DiCaprio, along with Titanic actor’s name emblazoned on front.

Timeline of Dave Franco and Alison Brie’s relationship

Brie and Franco first met in 2011 while celebrating Mardi Gras in New Orleans. They got married in 2017 and since then have been collaborating on projects and supporting each other in their careers.

In 2017, the couple starred in both Small hours and Disaster artist. Then in 2020, Franco made his directorial debut with a horror film Rental, starring Brie. Franco directed his wife again in 2023 Someone I used to know.

“Within our household, it’s really fun because it’s inspiring… I think it’s really fun to come to your own confidence at the same time and in these different ways of doing things, and it kind of encourages each other,” Brie told PEOPLE in 2022. … “And it’s a new way for us to connect with each other.”

In 2020, Franco spoke openly about cooperation with his wife lease, in which Brie starred alongside Jeremy Allen White, Dan Stevens, Sheila Vand and Toby Huss. Speaking with Moviemaker magazineFranco said Moonlight directed by Barry Jenkins couldn’t have done it without Brie.

“We’ve acted together and we knew we’d get along well on set, but obviously we’ve never worked together in this capacity,” Franco told Jenkins, 43, in the cover story. “But what I will say is that I always knew she was an amazing actress.”

In the February 2023 issue of PEOPLE magazine, Brie said that watching her “amazing” husband at work gives her a great sense of pride, gushing, “He’s amazing.”

During the quarantine of the COVID-19 pandemic, they wrote a romantic comedy together Someone I used to know, starring Brie and directed by Franco. When they finally got around to shooting it in 2021, Brie says it was a pleasure to see him behind the camera.

“I’ve always known him to be an incredibly sweet, honest, curious person, but seeing him at work as a director and the way he works with his crew makes me fall in love with him all over again,” the Community alum told PEOPLE. “I know it sounds so cheesy.”

“He just brings a collaborative element to filmmaking, and I think he brings out the best in everyone around him and then also lets them do their thing and lets them shine and take ownership of every department,” Brie added. “And it becomes such a great vibe on set.”
