Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo – who married in 2014 – are the parents of three children.

Coupe welcomed their third child — and first son — in January 2023. He joined older sisters Dusty Rose, 7, and Gio Grace, 5.

Both the musician and model have spoken about their desire to expand their family over the years, with the “She Will Be Loved” singer joking in 2014 that he wanted to “have 100 kids.”

Speaking with Party tonight in November 2021, Prinsloo also opened up the possibility of more children.

“You know what, never say never. We want a big family, who knows?” Prinsloo told the outlet. “We leave it up to fate and just what happens. What will happen will be. So there are no limits.”

In September 2022, after a series of cheating allegations against Levine surfaced, a source close to Prinsloo told PEOPLE that the couple — who were expecting a son at the time — were trying to stay positive about the children. “Right now, their focus is just on being the best parents possible. She’s hurt and upset, but she’s holding back for the sake of the kids,” the source said.

A few months after their son was born, Levine told Ryan Seacrest that he loves the “chaos” of being a dad to three rambunctious children.

“It’s great. I embrace the chaos,” he said, adding that he was in the process of convincing Prinsloo that it was time to buy a minivan. “You can make a minivan whatever you want. It doesn’t have to be your mother’s Chrysler Town & Country. It can be this spectacular spaceship and fun.”

Dusty Rose, 7

In March 2016, PEOPLE confirmed that Levine and Prinsloo were expecting their first child together. The couple welcomed a daughter, Dusty Rose, on September 21, 2016, in California.

Ahead of the arrival of his first daughter, the former PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive opened up about preparing for first-time parenthood, telling Kelly Ripa, “We’re just going to jump in and try to figure it out.”

He continued: “I’ll probably be a lot more freaked out when I see a baby and think, ‘Oh, now there’s a baby!’ ”

A few weeks into fatherhood, Levine stopped by On Air with Ryan Seacrest talk to the host about how he is adjusting. “I’ve been a parent for three weeks; what do I know?” he said, admitting, “I don’t know anything, but that’s part of the beauty of it, honestly. There’s a lot of instincts, a lot of things that kick in and turn on. It’s a wonderful experience.”

In 2017, the couple celebrated their little one’s first birthday with a blowout, which featured giant balloon unicorn animals and a rainbow tutu for the birthday girl.

Dusty has also made several appearances on Levine and Prinsloo’s Instagrams, usually with her face blurred or turned away from the camera. She even appeared alongside her mom in Maroon 5’s 2018 music video for “Girls Like You.”

The young lady is a loving big sister, as Levine explained in 2018. “She’s obsessed with Gio,” he told Ellen DeGeneres. “Every morning when he wakes up, the first thing he says is: Gio, Gio, Gio, Gio!” And ran to her room. It’s so sweet,” he continued. “Totally in love with her. She is a bit rude to her because she doesn’t understand [being gentler] though, so he’ll get in her face and do crazy things.”

Levine spoke to DeGeneres again the following year about his daughters’ opinion of his music, revealing, “You’d think that [Dusty would] like when I sang to her, but she just doesn’t like it that much,” he said. “I wish I was lying.” He recounted the “humbling” experience of “auditioning” for his older daughter, sharing that she asked him to put the guitar down after started playing for her.

– I don’t know if I have the courage to stand up to her again and perform music in front of her – he joked.

The couple revealed they were expecting again on September 13, 2017, and Prinsloo shared a photo of herself in a bikini with a growing baby bump. “ROUND 2…” she captioned the selfie in the mirror.

The couple welcomed their second child, daughter Gio Grace, on February 15, 2018, making Dusty Rose a big sister.

Gio made her Instagram debut a few days later, and Prinsloo shared a photo of her feet. “Gio Grace Levine 2/15/18,” the mom of two wrote, adding, “She has daddy’s fingers.”

The proud mom celebrated Gio’s first birthday with Moana-themed gathering in February 2019, sharing several balloon-filled photos on Instagram from the extravagant occasion, which featured a rainbow cake and tiered dessert platters.

“My little GG is 1 love you,” she captioned the sweet photo.

While her older sister is not a big fan of her father’s music, Gio is already following in his musical footsteps. “Gio loves music,” Levine told DeGeneres in 2019. “But yeah, Dusty’s the manager, you know? Gio’s the talent, Dusty’s the manager.”

After leaving his role as coach at Vote In 2019, Levine told DeGeneres that he loves life as a “stay-at-home dad” and how much time it gives him with his two daughters.

“I just worked constantly for so many years – I was very lucky, very lucky, very blessed and all that, but [I wanted] that I can spend time in this moment with my new, young family, and just have the best time ever.”

Speaking about his daughters, he revealed: “I’m obsessed with them. I know it’s a good thing, because they’re my children… that’s why I don’t work much, because I like to hang [out with them]. I truly adore them in a way I never knew I could adore any little person.”

In February 2023, Gio celebrated her 5th birthday. The following week, Prinsloo shared snaps of her daughter’s party-filled party on her Instagram Story. The model included a video of guests sliding down an ice hill and pictures of a rainbow cake.

Another picture shows the mum-of-three cheek to cheek with her daughter. “We were raging,” Prinsloo captioned the clip.

On January 30, 2023, a source shared that Levine and Prinsloo welcomed their third child. The former Victoria’s Secret model posted the first glimpse of her son on Instagram in March 2023. The photo showed the two-month-old’s feet resting on Prinsloo’s lap.

PEOPLE has confirmed that Prinsloo and the “Sunday Morning” singer are expanding their family back in September 2022. Before the couple went public with the baby news, the Namibian model was seen having lunch on Sept. 5 in Santa Barbara, California, where her baby bump was seen in a silk floral dress.

Prinsloo previously opened Party tonight in November 2021 about the desire for more children. “We always knew we wanted another one. So I think in those two years, when I had two babies under 2 years old, I was like, ‘Don’t even think about it!’ But I also want five kids, but don’t even think about it,” she explained.

On September 15, Prinsloo shared her first photo with her third baby bump on display, posting a window selfie of herself in baggy white pants and a tie-dye shirt.

On Jan. 31, 2023, a source told PEOPLE that Levine and Prinsloo “have been very focused on special family time before the new baby arrives.”

“After the fall drama, Adam really tried to just focus on his family,” the insider continued. “He was very embarrassed and regretful. She and Adam are great. They are excited about the new baby.” The source also revealed that Dusty and Gio are happy about the addition to the family. “Girls are great with a baby,” they said.

In November 2023, almost a year after the birth, Prinsloo revealed that their third child was a boy. The model talked about her intense experience of childbirth on Daza’s mother podcast, referring to his youngest as himself for the first time since the baby was born.

“There’s an amazing photo that my doula showed me… I think 12 minutes before I gave birth, before he came out,” Prinsloo said. “She took a picture and I was laughing. And looking back on it, I was like, ‘Wow, that’s so crazy,’ because at that point … it was tunnel vision for me. I just . . . [trying to] get through this.”
