All About Marc Anthony’s 7 Kids

Although he is known for his music, Marc Anthony is also a proud father.

The three-time Grammy winner and six-time Latin Grammy winner welcomed his seventh child, his first with wife Nadia Ferreira, on Father’s Day in June 2023. Anthony (born Marco Antonio Muñiz) is the father of six other children: he shares a daughter, Arianna (29 ) and son Chase (28) with ex-girlfriend Debbie Rosado; sons Cristian, 23, and Ryan, 20, with ex-wife Dayanara Torres; and twins Emma and Maximilian, 16, with ex-wife Jennifer Lopez.

Between his demanding career and large family, Anthony was candid about his parenting ups and downs over the years. In 2016, he told CBS’ On Sunday morning“My only regret would be that what I chose took so long… What I would have done if I was a stay-at-home dad, and you know, witnessing every second of everything. I would have loved it. It didn’t work out that way.”

He continued, “That’s the only thing that pulls me and — that’s the biggest sacrifice. And you start to wonder if it was all worth it. Was it worth it? You know, on that level.”

However, Anthony’s children have always supported their dad’s career. In September 2023, Cristian and Ryan attended the singer’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in Los Angeles.

Anthony’s daughter Arianna Muñiz, who he shares with ex-girlfriend Debbie Rosado, was born on June 29, 1994. She leads a fairly private life.

Although she doesn’t seem to be active on social media, her father’s ex-wife, Shannon De Lima, posted a picture of them on Instagram to mark Muñiz’s 23rd birthday in 2017. “Happy birthday my princess!!!! ! hope you have a great day.. You deserve the world!!!! I miss you and love you,” she wrote.

Anthony’s second child with Rosado, Chase Muñiz, was born in 1995.

In 2012, Chase took to Twitter to express his approval of his then-father’s new girlfriend, de Lima, writing, “To all my followers and everyone on twitter, follow the best couple of 2012 and many years to come @MarcAnthony and @Shadelima !!!! !” Anthony and de Lima eventually married in 2014, but divorced two years later.

Per Hola!, Chase has also been spending time with his father’s current wife, Nadia Ferreira. In an Instagram video posted in June 2022, Chase was seen sitting with Anthony, Ferrier and singer Ricky Montaner as the group listened to Montaner’s new song.

Cristian Muñiz, 23

Cristian Marcus Muñiz was born on February 5, 2001 in the family of Anthony and his first wife, Puerto Rican actress and model Dayanara Torres. Anthony and Torres were married from 2000 to 2004.

In May 2020, Torres posted a throwback video of her and Cristian sitting in a car listening to music. She wrote: “We have the best mother and son relationship I know. Maybe it’s because we are so similar in the way we are, calm, like the same things, like the same movies, the same sense of humor, draw break up…”

The model continued, “Seeing him move to NY for his new life at college makes my heart swell with pride.”

In May 2023, Cristian graduated from Parsons School of Design. After the graduation ceremony, Anthony took to Instagram to share a video of his son showing off his diploma, as well as photos of him, Cristian, Ryan and Torres posing together at the event.

Anthony and Torres’ second son together, Ryan Adrian Muñiz, was born on August 16, 2003.

He graduated from Woodland Hills High School in Los Angeles in 2017. His father, mother and brother, as well as his father’s ex-wife Lopez and his siblings Emme and Maximilian, all attended the ceremony.

When Ryan turned 17 in 2020, Torres celebrated her son on Instagram, sharing a video montage of Ryan through the years. “Thank you for coming into my life and teaching me so much… You are my 🦁, you are not afraid of anything! You dare everything without fear or doubt! You give me strength every day! Thank you for that. Much love, for your tender hugs and holding my hand when I need it most…”, she captioned the post.

Anthony shares twins Emma Maribel and Maximilian David with ex-wife Jennifer Lopez. The twins were born on February 22, 2008 – three months after the singer and actress announced her pregnancy on tour.

Emme has a passion for singing and Anthony said he would be fully behind Emma if it was something his child wanted to pursue. “Music was a big part of my life growing up and I hope it will be like that today [Emme] like it did for me,” he said in 2019. “And if that’s what she wants to do … well, she should do it because she likes it, not because she has to. Not for fame, or popularity, or likes.”

At age 11, Emme joined Lopez on stage at halftime of the 2020 Super Bowl, and Lopez said Emme has the “performance gene” after her child’s performance.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE later that year, Emme discussed the Super Bowl appearance, as well as the children’s book Emme wrote, Lord help me.

The book, which was published in September 2020, shows how prayer helped Emma deal with “big and small” challenges.

Emme told PEOPLE, “I really hope kids can learn to pray, share the book and spread the power of prayer after reading it.”

Anthony and Lopez’s child also opened up about twin brother Max, saying, “Max and I have a special relationship. Since we were very little, I could always understand him when no one else could.”

Maximilian Muñiz, 16

Anthony and Lopez Maximilian David Muñiz’s second child was born 11 minutes after twin Emma on February 22, 2008.

In a 2015 interview with Latin Times, Lopez described Max as a “mini-Marco”.

Five years later, Max took the stage in his school’s production Wizard of Oz, where he played the coroner of Munchkinland. “The littlest munchkin,” Lopez captioned a video of her son’s performance, along with the hashtag “proud mom.”

In 2022, Max made his acting debut in Lopez’s film Marry me.

On June 18, 2023, which was also Father’s Day, Anthony and his wife Nadia Ferreira welcomed their first child together — and the singer’s seventh. They announced the arrival of their son with a joint post on Instagram.

“God’s timing is always perfect. Happy Father’s Day,” they captioned a black-and-white photo of Anthony holding the newborn.

The following month, Anthony shared a photo of the newborn with his longtime friend David Beckham on Instagram. In the video, the football star kissed the baby’s foot.

“Tío David nos vino a visitar. Que bendición,” the proud dad wrote in the caption, which translates to “Uncle David came to visit us. What a blessing.”

In March 2024, Ferreira and Anthony first shared a photo of their baby boy’s face on Instagram.

“Happy 9 months. my everything. mommy and daddy love you!!!!” they wrote a joint post showing a cute picture of their son in a knit combo and Nike sneakers.
