My Mum Your Dad is on ITV all week and viewers are loving it.

The new series, fronted by Davina McCall, has previously been billed as “Middle-Age Love Island”, but instead of jetting off to a luxury villa in the heart of Majorca, the cast – made up of single mums and dads – head to a spacious country house retreat in the English countryside in she hopes to find love thanks to her children who are having fun.

But the parents are unaware that the young-adult sons and daughters are watching the dates in a surveillance room called the ‘Bunker’ before deciding the fate of their mom or dad.

Who is the star of My Mummy Your Daddy Janey and what is her job?

Janey is a 47-year-old recruitment manager and singer. The contestant, who hails from West Sussex, appears on the show with her 19-year-old son Will.

Janey talked about her past dating experiences and what she expects in the future. “I’ve matured and I know that what I used to pursue doesn’t suit me now. It sounds like a cliché, but it’s not about looks and material things, that’s so irrelevant. Now I’m looking for a best friend who I like!”

Janey also shared with ITV how her job affects how she is perceived. “I think people might misunderstand me at first. I’m aware that they might judge me based on how open I am and the fact that my business works well,” she said. “In reality, I might be the most sensitive person out there. And I’m emotional. I’m excited to meet someone who sees that side of me.”
