To the delight of the fans, Cunha looked happy after returning to first team training.

The Brazilian appears to have recovered from the hamstring injury he picked up in the 2-0 defeat to Brentford in February.

But attention quickly turned to the bizarre and mystical illusion that had taken shape.

Video shared The official X account of Wolves shows Cunha – sporting a new trendy blonde hair style – running into the arms of goalkeeper Jose Sa.

Sa joked, “Are you ready for penalties? You used my comb yesterday. Do you know how I know? White hair in it.”

But it was the ghostly illusion that appeared as Cunha made his escape that left fans convinced that dark magic was being used at Sir Jack Hayward’s training complex.

Cunha skilfully hits a stationary ball that seems to bounce only from space.

However, to everyone’s disappointment, another clip in the comments shows the ball simply bouncing off another ball.

However, other fans were not so convinced.

One user wrote: “Welcome to the concept of things that exist outside the camera.”

Another declared: “Why should the club itself edit it!”

By the way, after 28 appearances in the 2023/24 season, Cunha scored 11 goals and recorded seven assists.

Wolves – and possibly Cunha – will return to Premier League action this Saturday against top four contenders Aston Villa.
