Amal Clooney caused a stir in Venice!
The human rights lawyer, 46, arrived at a private party hosted by Cartier at the 81st annual Venice International Film Festival on Saturday, August 31, in a mermaid-inspired Bach Mai dress inspired by the closing dress of the designer’s Resort 2023 collection, titled the dress ” Lightening Storm”.
The strapless, floor-length garment had shimmering tassels at the bottom and an ombre effect that started from the hood of the stone-colored lamb bodice and flowed into a teal skirt that had shades of purple, including wisteria, along the hemline.
Amal had her hair down and styled in subtle waves, and she carried a small clutch in her hand.

She arrived in Venice with her husband, George Clooney, on Friday, August 30, wearing an outfit with similar summery vibes — a bright yellow pleated minidress with lettuce-colored hem detailing.

She completed the look with a wide-brimmed straw hat that matched her sandals and carried a beige handbag. She also wore black sunglasses.

The couple are at the prestigious festival for the premiere of George’s film Wolvesscheduled for Sunday, September 1. The thriller also stars Brad Pitt.
Earlier in August, George and Amal spent time on Lake Como, where the actor has owned a waterfront villa for decades. The couple enjoyed a boat trip with friends before heading ashore for dinner at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo.
