Amber Rose Says She and Wiz Khalifa Are ‘Best Friends Now’ as Co-Parents for Son Sebastian (Exclusive)

Amber Rose says she and Wiz Khalifa have a great co-parenting relationship.

PEOPLE got an exclusive peek at the model’s upcoming appearance on Wednesday at Tamron Hallin which the 40-year-old talked about how she got over the split from her child’s father and her ex-husband to get back to a positive point in her life.

“I think me and Wiz are so much, best friends now, yeah — we’ve been through so much love that I can say that now, right? It’s not something we’d go back to or anything like that. We are just friends and co-parents,” said influencer Hallu (53).

Rose shares 10-year-old Sebastian Taylor with Khalifa. She has another son, 4-year-old Slash Electric Alexander, with ex Alexander “AE” Edwards.

During the appearance, Hall asked Rose about a previous interview in which she talked about how hard it was for her to break up with the “See You Again” rapper, 36.

In November, Rose said on No Jumper podcast that she “cried for three years without stopping” after they broke up. “Wiz was the love of my life. “I used to just sit in the shower and say ‘F—,'” she said at the time.

“Well usually, celebrities won’t do that because they don’t want the whole internet to say something. And as for me, I just have to be honest,” Rose told Hall.

When asked if it was “healing” to share those details from her life, Rose said it was “just the truth”.

“If you wanted to say, sometimes, celebrity or not, you have a friend like that [says] ‘How were you after the break?’ your friend will lie and say, ‘Girl, I’m over him. I’m good.’ So it’s not just celebrities, people often hide their heart to protect their heart,” Hall said.

She then asked the mother of two if she had found any lessons in her past heartbreak.

“I never loved again, and then I did, and the same thing happened,” Rose said.

Laughing but seemingly taken aback by the response, Hall said, “That’s not a lesson.”

“Stay away from me, that’s the lesson,” Rose joked.

Hall doubled down on the question, again asking her guest if she learned anything – adding that she believes the model will find love again.

“Right now I love myself. I love my children. I’m not thinking about anyone, Tamron,” Rose said. “Not now.”

“I have my own schedule. Not worrying about what anyone else is doing. I’m waiting for a text message. I don’t have to send a goodnight text when I don’t feel like it. Not worrying about what they ate or didn’t eat today — I don’t have time! I worry about what I want to eat,” Rose said, smiling, as she discussed her journey of self-love.
