Amy Adams' Daughter Aviana, 14, Makes Red Carpet Debut as Actress Talks Sharing New Movie with Her (Exclusive)

Amy Adams’ daughter made her debut on the red carpet!

On Saturday, September 7, Adams, 50, and husband Darren Le Gallo’s daughter Aviana Olea Le Gallo, 14, joined the couple on the red carpet for the premiere of Adams’ new film night bitch at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival.

Adams wore a jewel-encrusted off-the-shoulder midnight blue Prada dress to the premiere, while Aviana wore a strapless black dress.

While speaking exclusively to PEOPLE on the TIFF red carpet, Disappointed the star commented on what it means to share a film with her daughter.

“I’m excited to share some parts with her, because it’s her mom, I’m going to be a little more protective of certain aspects of making the movie,” she said, speaking of night bitch and be a producer on an upcoming film.

“I think what I want her to know about my experience of motherhood is how much it enriched my life and made me the woman I am today,” Adams added, alluding to a story about a new mom who’s convinced she’s turning into a dog.

“I tell her that all the time, but it’s the truth and I’m glad she’s here tonight to celebrate with me,” Adams told PEOPLE.

The six-time Oscar nominee also spoke about how she will turn 50 on August 20, and it seems that she is entering the new decade happier than ever.

“I feel wonderful at 50,” Adams tells PEOPLE.

“I know everyone’s thinking, ‘Oh, it’s 50’… I feel great,” he insists, adding: “I feel very grateful, just very focused and happy to be here, really grateful.”

According to the synopsis, Adams’ character in her new film “pauses her career to be a stay-at-home mom, but soon her new household takes a surreal turn.” The film is an adaptation of Rachel Yoder’s 2021 novel.

Adams has been open about motherhood for years, sharing in a 2017 interview Party tonight that she hopes to be a source of inspiration for her daughter.

“I want to [Aviana] to know that it is not only women who can soar, she can soar and needs to find her own light. I know she’s on that path,” Adams told the newspaper. “It’s something I have to remind her of. No light that shines on me creates a shadow in which she can stand.”
