Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes Rev Up Their Romance with Motorcycle Ride Through NYC

The former ‘GMA3’ anchors left ABC in January and are currently training together for the marathon

Previous GMA3 hosts Amy Robach and TJ Holmes seem to be moving full speed ahead with their relationship.

Holmes, 46, and Robach, 50, were seen riding a motorcycle through New York on Tuesday.

In the photo obtained by PEOPLE, Holmes was wearing jeans, a red helmet and an army green jacket. Robach, who sat behind him with her arms wrapped around his waist, wore a purple helmet, jeans and a leather jacket.

The former news anchors were similarly dressed in motorcycle jackets, cuffed jeans and leather boots as they took a spin on TJ's Royal Enfield. The sighting comes on the heels of news that Holmes has split from Marilee Fiebig nearly a year after his alleged affair.

The couple is currently training for the New York City Marathon, and on Wednesday Robach posted a photo of the meal Holmes made for her after the run.

“Let the narrowing begin… and a big thank you for the run eggs and chorizo post @officialtjholmes 😋,” she wrote on Instagram.

Just days before their motorcycle trip, Holmes settled his divorce from wife Marilee Fiebig. The lawyer, 45, filed for divorce from Holmes after 12 years in December after his romance with former colleague Robach became public knowledge.

Robach is still legally married to her husband, actor Andrew Shue, although they have reportedly been separated since the summer of 2022.

When news of their romance broke, a source told PEOPLE that Holmes and Robach “both broke up with their spouses in August within weeks of each other” and that their relationship “didn’t take off until then.”

In June, a source close to Robach told PEOPLE that Robach and Holmes are “still together, happy and trying to keep it low” after they decided to part ways with ABC News in January over the fallout over their business romance.

“It seems like they haven’t bothered with it for a while, but now they’re making a concerted effort,” a source said of the pair’s PDA at home and abroad over the past few months.

The insider added that while Robach and Holmes are still getting paid by ABC, they aren’t too worried about the next steps in their careers.

“They’re still being paid by ABC so they’re not too worried about their next steps yet, although they’ve floated some ideas for next projects and held a few meetings,” the source said. “Amy is so talented, and this whole year and how it all played out was a shock to her.”

“They’re actually in love and still in touch with the people who work on the show,” the source said. “They’re not worried about not working again, but they know the dust has to settle a little more before they get another job. There’s still too much going on.”
