Months have passed after Steve Greig’s beloved dog passed away, and he still feels devastated. Then he decided that he would give another resurrected dog a good life. Not a single dog from an animal shelter.

He went to his local dog adoption center in Denver, Colorado to bring home his “least accepted” old dog, as they are the ones that are frequently abandoned. Now Greig is a big dad of his ten senior shelter dogs and his Instagram is filled with beauty approved by 478k followers.

Greig wakes up at 5 a.m. every morning to prepare breakfast for her extended family of ten dogs. Most dogs have different diets. Our schedule is filled with walks in the park, vet appointments… and lots of love and companionship. “Whenever I sit or lie down on a dog-friendly level, there’s always at least three or more [dоgs] attached,” Greig wrote on Instagram.

“It is the wisest species,” said Greig of the Dodo. “You’ll know what you want out of life when you reach a certain age. These old dogs know who they are and it’s easy to develop a relationship with a person or pet who knows who they are.

It’s nice to know that these adorable animals are happy, loved and cared for. It makes my day worthwhile.”

Greig also has a pig named Bikini, as well as two dice, a pigeon, a cat, and some chickens. There is currently no room for pets, but she plans to adopt more senior dogs in the house. After all, love knows no age.
