- Ananya Nagalla put in a lot of effort to play the role of Padma in the 2019 movie Mallesham. In an interview, she revealed that she took a month off to audition for the role multiple times. Director Raj Rachakonda eventually cast her after noticing considerable improvement in her acting skills. Although her parents were initially hesitant about her career change, they did not actively discourage her from pursuing her dreams.
