Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig Shared a Selfie Together 6 Years Before Dating – and Amy Robach Loved It!

Six years before their romance went public, Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig showed off their close friendship on social media.

Exes Amy Robach and TJ Holmes posed for a selfie together back in December 2016, and Fiebig shared the photo on her Instagram.

“Loved hanging out with our GMA family, especially @ajrobach and her hubby, @7_a_e_s_7, who we don’t see enough of. #andrewshue,” Fiebig captioned the post.

Robach, 50, expressed her support in the comments section, writing, “❤️this!”

The following year, Shue, Fiebig, Robach and Holmes posed with former ABC News colleagues Michael Strahan and Sara Haines at a celebration for Melrose Place alum’s birthday.

“The GMA family. @7_a_e_s_7 you will always be 20 something Billy to me…Happy Birthday!!! #mondays @ajrobach @sarahaines @maxshifrin @officialtjholmes @michaelstrahan,” Fiebig wrote on Instagram, referring to Shue’s Melrose Place character Billy Campbell.

That same year, Fiebig also shared a video with Robach, Haines and fashion designer Marissa Webb on social media.

Amy Robach’s Ex, Andrew Shue First Spotted Amid News He’s Dating TJ Holmes’ Ex, Marilee Fiebig (Exclusive)

PEOPLE confirmed Tuesday that Shue and Fiebig are dating less than a year after Robach and Holmes’ romance went public.

Ex-spouses of ex GMA3: What you need to know co-hosts sparked the romantic relationship because they bonded over the shared experience of breaking up with their partners when Robach and Holmes found love with each other, PEOPLE has learned.

Their romance became public knowledge in November 2022 when photos of them hanging out together appeared. At the time, Robach did not confirm the separation from Shue, nor did Holmes from Fiebig.

On December 5, 2022, Robach and Holmes were “temporarily” removed from the daytime television program. The following month, it was officially announced that they would not be returning to their roles at ABC News due to the company’s investigation into their romance.

On the debut episode of iHeartRadio on Tuesday Amy & TJ podcast, the couple clarified the timeline of their romance and revealed that they both lived apart from their estranged spouses before they struck up a romance.

According to Holmes, “30. November 2022 was the day we were, and this is very important, we were kicked out… To be clear, we were kicked out as if we were in a relationship, but everyone else thought we were kicked out as adulterers — exposed as cheating on our spouse — and that wasn’t the case because it’s strange that on the day those pictures were taken and the day that article was published, we were both in divorce proceedings at the time.”

Robach added: “Yes, we had lawyers, mediators. We were in the middle of a divorce.”

Holmes and Fiebig divorced in December 2022, just weeks after news of his and Robach’s relationship broke. Robach also finalized her divorce from Shue, 56, in March, per Page six.

Over the past year, Robach and Holmes have become more comfortable showing their relationship in public, with many of their romantic outings taking place at home and abroad. Over the weekend, Robach and Holmes made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2023 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball.
