Angad Bedi was born on February 6, 1983 in Delhi, India (age 38 in 2021). He was educated at Bishop Cotton School, Shimla, St. Columbia’s School, Delhi and Gyan Bharti Public School, Delhi. After completing his studies, he went to St. Stephen’s College, Delhi to complete his graduation. Growing up as the son of a cricketer, he always had a passion for cricket. He even played for Delhi U-16 and U-19 teams; he also played for the Ranji Trophy. Angad became interested in acting as a teenager and left cricket at the age of 17 to pursue a career in acting.

Angad got his first break in the modeling world from fashion designer JJ Valaya. After seeing his modeling photos, TV anchor Sashi Kumar wanted to cast him in Kaya Taran (2004), a film based on the Sikh riots. Thereafter, he played the role of Niranjan “Nanj” Nair in Remo D’Souza’s FALTU

- Angad hopes to make a documentary or biopic about his father.
- Angad dated around 75 women before marrying Neha Dhupia. Some of them were older than him. When he was 20, he dated a woman 10 years older than him.
- Angad first met Neha Dhupia at China House and found her very attractive.
