On several of her songs, the mumble rapper teamed up with famous musicians such as Jack Parow, Van Pletzen, Loufi, Biggy and producer DJ Kay Faith.
Sadly, she died on Saturday after being diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Her death occurred at Life Wilgers Hospital in Pretoria, where she had been receiving treatment since being diagnosed earlier that week. Angie Oeh has made huge strides in the South African rap industry in recent years. After her death, there was speculation about her parents, although the singer/rapper did not reveal any information about her mother or father. Her family has not released any official comments or provided any obituary or funeral information. Wynand Myburgh, better known as Valkie van Coke, Angie’s manager and friend, expressed immense regret at her death because of her young age. He praised her originality, hard-nosed ethics and down-to-earth personality, saying her music will live on and her memories will live on. Greeff’s public relations manager, Louise Crouse, told News24 they were very shocked and devastated by her sudden departure. In 2022, Greeff operated on a malignant tumor with a diameter of 15 cm from her back.
She began to feel discomfort in her side about two months before her death. Her cancer diagnosis was confirmed on Monday. Myburgh previously told News24 that Greeff sought medical attention and was rushed to hospital after experiencing excruciating agony. In a recent Instagram post, she asked for financial help, asking for 200,000 rand for medical expenses. The BackaBuddy campaign was launched and contributions totaled more than R278,000.

There is no indication of her nationality due to a lack of information on her parents; however, the late rapper was of South African descent. Similarly, she has not disclosed her religious views or faith. Angie valued her privacy and was passionate about music. Angie was an open lesbian and had been in a relationship for about four years; however, her partner’s name remains unknown.
Starting out as an English bedroom rapper, she saw the need for a change and critically shifted to Afrikaans rap, which she considers her most significant choice. Angie Oeh became enamored with Afrikaans music and its many tones, recognizing a great void in the work it filled. She has collaborated extensively with Afrikaans music legends such as Loufi, Peach Van Pletzen and Jack Parow, releasing two EPs and appearing in two music videos.
Besides being a rapper, she has a penchant for tattoos. She got her first face tattoo when she was 18, using it as motivation to avoid her 9 to 5 job. Her leg also has tattoos of naked women, which she affectionately refers to as her “naked female leg”.
