On July 13, 2015, he got engaged to Indian television actor Shubhi. In an interview, Aniruddh talked about Subuhi, his co-star in the Indian television series Bandhan (2014). He said,
On the sets of Bandhan, we never spoke except for shooting. Coincidentally, her mother knew my parents as they worked in the education department in Rajasthan…Through some of Shubhi’s relatives in Delhi, we started talking and eventually got engaged. I got engaged on July 13. I guess it’s a match made in heaven.”

The couple tied the knot in Jaipur on November 24, 2015. Anirudh reportedly wore a dhoti weighing 32 kg (71 lb) on his wedding day. In 2021, the couple was blessed with a son named Anishq.

Profession
Dev started his career as a theatre artist. He has acted in many plays including Rashomon (directed by Akira Kurosawa; international version), Haye Mera Dil (with Ranveer Singh), Man Without Shadow and Jaat Na Pucho Sadhu. In 2008, he made his debut in the Hindi television serial Raajkumar Aaryyan, playing the role of Raajkumar Aaryyan.
He subsequently starred in several Hindi television serials such as Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki (2009), Yeh Hai Aashiqui (2013), YARO Ka Tashan (2016), Patiala Babes (2018), Lockdown Ki Love Story (2020), and Shakti- Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki (2021).

Dev made his debut as an actor with Teree Sang (2009), in which he played the role of Mustakh. He has also acted in several other films such as Shorgul (2016), Chhoriyan Chhoron Se Kam Nahi Hoti (2019), Pranaam (2019) and Bell Bottom (2020).

- While shooting for a scene in the film Shorgul (2016), he jumped 120 feet into a river in Lucknow. In an interview, he talked about the scene. He said,
There was a scene in the movie where I needed to jump from a height and then jump into the water. I was confident and took safety measures. I am an actor who believes in perfection and I want to achieve it through a lot of practice. If I am new to something, I will make it perfect through practice and concentration. So I took the same approach this time. “

- In an interview, he shared that he once took over a TV series as a producer but failed to launch the project. As a result, he faced huge financial losses.

- He was in the news for reportedly winning a national award, but that turned out to be a rumor.
- On April 23, 2021, he was tested positive for COVID-19 while shooting in Bhopal. Later, his condition turned critical and he was admitted to the ICU. During treatment, his lungs were tested to have 85% infection. After a few days, he started recovering and shared a post on Instagram thanking his well-wishers. He wrote,
Thank you my dear friends, it sounds like a small word! I could feel the love, care, blessings and prayers from all of you for the past 22 days in the hospital bed. I was on oxygen the whole time. But the courage I got was a huge borrow…14 days later and now outside the ICU I am a little better. The infection rate is 85%, it takes time. No rush. I just need to breathe on my own…see you soon…being emotional will desaturate me…I know everything will get better soon…this too will pass. Much love.
