She received her education from Mr. MR Sarda Kanya Vidya Mandir, Nashik and went to Lalit Kala Kendra, Pune University, Pune for her MA. She has loved acting since she was a child and participated in many plays and plays during her school days. Anita started her career in 2008 with the Marathi film Sanai Choughade. She subsequently appeared in Coffee Ani Barach Kahi, Ajoba, Popat, Mynah, Gandha, Seema, Ek Paying Ghost, Jogwa, Adgula Madgula.
She made her Marathi television debut in 2009 with Dar Ughda Na Gade. Later, Anita appeared in Marathi shows like Agnihotra, Manthan, Anamika and Eka Lagnachi Teesri Goshta. She has also appeared in Hindi daily soaps like Balveer, Bhai Bhaiya Aur Brothers and Bandini.
