- In 2023, Sheeran contested the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) presidential election, aiming to fill the vacancy left by Brij Bhushan Singh. She is the only female candidate running. On January 18, 2023, Singh lost his position as WFI president as he faced multiple allegations of sexual exploitation of female wrestlers spanning more than a decade; Sheoran was one of the women sexually assaulted by Bhushan Singh.
