Ankit Nagori was born on Sunday, October 27, 1985, in the small town of Bokaro, Bihar, India (38 years old as of 2021). He moved to New Delhi at the age of 5 and received his primary education from Delhi Public School. He has been a cricket enthusiast since childhood and played cricket during his school days. Later, he went to Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati to obtain a bachelor’s degree in engineering. Profession
Ankit Nagori entered the business field after graduation in 2007. He started working as a marketing intern at ESCP Europe. After completing his internship in three months, he founded his own company, Youthpad, in October 2007. Youthpad is a social media platform that he has been running for two years and four months. After leaving Youthpad, he joined Flipkart in February 2010 as chief commercial officer. He served in that position for six years.
Co-founder of Cure.fit
In March 2016, he finally left Flipkart and founded his own company, Cure.fit. Cure.fit is a technology-driven wellness platform that helps people eat, work, sleep and think healthy. Mukesh Bansal and Ankit Nagori founded the company in Bengaluru with an initial investment of $5 million, approximately Rs. 33 Crores. To achieve its goal of providing a healthy lifestyle, Cure Fit has proposed four vertical areas, including:
- Cult.fit: gyms and fitness centers
- Care.fit: Subscription-based primary care service
- Eat.fit: Online healthy food delivery service
- Mind.fit: online/offline mental health and wellness services
In the second quarter of 2017, Cure.fit partnered with Hrithik Roshan to launch HRX workout under its cult.fit program. HRX is Hrithik Roshan’s lifestyle brand and this association is seen as a beneficial branding strategy for healing.Fitness. Mukesh Bansal, co-founder of ure.fit, said of the association:

Transfers its majority stake to CureFoods
In 2020, Ankit invested in the potential of nutraceuticals and used its equity to acquire majority ownership of CureFoods, part of Eat.fit. CureFoods uses Eat.fit to run its cloud-based kitchen. However, he still retains a stake in Cure.fit. After the equity transfer, Cure.fit issued a statement saying,
Ankit Nagori has significantly increased his ownership stake in CureFoods through the share exchange. Curefit will continue to be a significant shareholder in CureFoods. Eat.Fit will continue to be sold on the Curefit app and will offer catering services at Cult centres. “
In the same year, Curefoods began its journey to independence, opening 12-13 kitchens in Bangalore, Coimbatore and two other cities in South India, and set expansion targets.
As of August 2021, Curefoods has raised US$13 million (approximately 990 million Indian rupees) in Series A financing. Investors include Lydia Jett, Adil Allana, Rashmi Kwatra, Kunal Shah. The financing plan is led by Iron Pillar, Binny Bansal and Nordstar. After this financing, Curefoods has received a total of US$20 million (approximately Rs. 152 crore) in financing. With this funding, Ankit becomes one of the businessmen to raise huge sums in early-stage funding for Indian startups. As part of its brand and marketing strategy, Curefoods successfully roped in Varun Dhawan as the brand ambassador of Eat.fit in April 2022.
