I THOUGHT Anne-Marie and British rapper Slowthai had been in a steady relationship for almost two years now – but they weren’t really wasting any time getting married.
I can exclusively reveal that the pop star tied the knot with Slowthai – real name Tyron Frampton – on July 26, 2022, just months after they started dating.

The couple had a speed wedding in Las Vegas in the middle of her Dysfunctional tour.
A source said: “Anne-Marie and Slowthai married in secret two years ago.
“She had eight weeks off from touring and they went to Las Vegas and got married.”
Documents from Clark County Court in Sin City show the couple picked up a marriage license on July 20 before tying the knot six days later.
Anne-Marie and Slowthai never confirmed that they were married, but last summer the Don’t Play singer showed off a large diamond ring on her wedding finger.
Recently, Slowthai was spotted wearing a thick silver band on his finger.
He is currently awaiting trial on two counts of rape after pleading not guilty last year.
Caused headaches
As Anne-Marie prepares to lead a series of summer outings in July, that same month her husband will face trial for the alleged crimes.
Their decision to marry in secret is not surprising, given that they tied the knot ten months after police first charged Slowthai.
It’s not a good look for Anne-Marie, who rose to fame as a pure pop star with a string of hits including Ciao Adios and Psycho.

Insiders said Anne-Marie’s decision to stay with Slowthai caused headaches for her label, who feared her woman-friendly image could be tarnished by the relationship.
But since they are married, there is not much they can do.
Those close to Anne-Marie said she would continue to stand by Slowthai, despite how it might appear to outsiders.
One added: “Anne-Marie loves Tyrone. They are very happy together.”
I have interviewed Anne-Marie several times over the years and she is a kind, warm and intelligent woman who knows her mind.
The news of her secret wedding might come as a shock to her fans. But who are we to judge?
